Adam is a sought-after horn section arranger and performer of soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones in the New York area. Growing up, Adam's musical influences were Charlie Parker, Lenny Pickett of Tower of Power and Billy Joel. Finding his passion for composition and arranging in college, Adam graduated with a degree in music from Hofstra University, studying under legendary jazz pianist Dave Lalama. Soon after, Adam co-founded the Long Island-based funk and soul band, Funky in the Middle with fellow band mate Bill Gerrity, where he plays with Minute by Minute band leader Larry Lippman.
For Funky in the Middle, Adam has arranged and compiled an extensive "Funk Fake Book" consisting of well over 200 horn section based classics. Over the years, Adam has arranged for and performed with Gary Setzer's King Cadillac, Stealin' Dan (Steely Dan tribute), Big Shot (Billy Joel tribute), Nine Days, Spyro Gyra, Will Lee, Denny Laine, Barry Eastmond, Gordon Chambers as well as American Idol finalist, Constantine Maroulis.
Adam can currently be seen playing with Beginnings, the Chicago tribute band.
