Diane Marketta: Vocals / Harmonica / Percussion

Performing publicly since age 8, Diane grew up loving singers Ella Fitzgerald and Barbra Streisand. After graduating from New York University with a degree in drama, Diane worked for 10 years as the lead singer of Catch 22. Because of her vocal versatility, she continued to consistently perform in jazz, classical, pop and rock venues and record various projects throughout the tri-state area. In 2001, Diane had the pleasure and honor of working in the studio with legendary record producer, Arif Mardin.
In addition to performing, Diane has also devoted much of her career to vocal education. Her philosophy of safely developing a healthy and powerful voice is evident with the hundreds of students she has trained at Music Simply Music, Inc., where she is Vocal Director. Diane has authored the online newsletter, VIP (Vocalist's Insightful Practices), the ebook, "Simple Secrets to Karaoke Success!"and is the creator of the highly acclaimed vocal success program, "Sing Like A SuperStar."
Presently, Diane is an international voiceover specialist/singer. Her vocal talents include an eclectic variety of voiceover projects from corporate narrations for Bank of America to creating and voicing original characters for children's stories at major publishing houses. Diane resides on beautiful Long Island with her husband, Nick Ambrosino, keyboardist for Minute by Minute, and their three children.
