Larry Lippman: Lead Vocalist / Drummer / Percussion

Larry was the conceptualist of the band, Minute By Minute and is featured as the 'Michael McDonald voice' in the band. In addition, he is sharing the drum and percussion chairs with veteran drummer, Ralph Caserta.

Larry began studying music at age 5, including piano, drums, French horn as well as voice. He is a 1989 graduate of The Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. where he received a 4 year scholarship in the name of acclaimed drummer, Steve Smith, from the multi-platinum rock group, Journey. Larry received his degree alongside Honorary Doctorate recipients, the late Dizzy Gillespie and Beatles producer, Sir George Martin, who presented Larry with his degree. He currently holds the drum chair as well as co-lead singer in the band, Funky In The Middle.

Over the years, Larry has performed in various facets of music, from dueling piano nightclub comedy to bands of all musical styles. He was fortunate to share the stage with renowned guitarist, Elliott Randall of Steely Dan. Larry is a music educator in the Long Island public schools as well as a performing musician. He is a native of Buffalo, New York and currently resides on Long Island with his wife and son. Larry is honored to perform with the incredibly talented members of Minute by Minute.
