Paul O'Dell: Bass

Paul started his musical career at 8 years of age playing upright bass, and diversified into bass guitar with his school's jazz band. Playing local gigs with his friends, he honed his live performance chops in genres ranging from rock to jazz. He was a member of the much-sought-after quartet Round Midnight, adding keyboards and electronic instrumentation to his repertory.
Paul has studied with some of today's brightest luminaries of fusion jazz bass guitar, including Victor Wooten, Bunny Brunel and Mike Frost.
Today he works on original projects, big band ensembles and the Minute By Minute Band.
